About our Calexico flooring contractor crew
How I got into concrete floors
I grew up on my family's farm, where if a pump or a shed floor gave out, you figured out how to fix it yourself, and that's still how I look at a job. I learned concrete prep and floor coatings working on other crews, then started Calexico Precision Epoxy Flooring here in Calexico in 2023.
Most of our calls come from homeowners, shop owners and small businesses in Calexico and the cities around it, and what they want is a garage or epoxy floor that stays bonded. That comes down to the part you don't see once we're done, which is the concrete underneath and how well we prep it. It's hot and dry out here most of the year, and garage and shop floors work hard, so I'd rather tell you plainly what your slab can handle now than have you find out the hard way later.

What you can expect from us
We look at your slab first
Before I recommend a floor, I look at your concrete, the cracks, any old coating and how it's holding up, so what goes down fits the slab you actually have. A coating only holds as well as the floor under it.
The same person, estimate to finish
I'm the one who comes out to look at your floor and give you the estimate, and I'm on site with our crew while the work gets done. Nothing you told me at the estimate gets lost on the way to the job.
We'll tell you when less will do
If a repair or a simpler finish will do what you need, I'll tell you so instead of selling you the biggest system. You should pay for the floor your slab and your use call for, and no more.
Licensed for the work we do
California contractor license
The state's small-job exception for unlicensed workers stops at $1,000, and it only covers work that needs no permit and no hired help, and Calexico also has contractors carry a city business license. We're licensed and fully insured, and if your job needs a permit, I'll tell you at the estimate, handle the paperwork with the city or county office that covers your address and book the inspections.
