Accepting these terms

These terms explain how Calexico Precision Epoxy Flooring works with you, from the first visit to our website through the finished floor. When you use this site, ask for an estimate or hire us for a job, you agree to these terms.

If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site or book work with us. If something here is unclear, ask us before you sign anything, and we'll explain it in plain words.

What we do

We're a flooring contractor in Calexico, CA, and we work on concrete floors for homes and businesses in Calexico and the cities around it. Our work includes epoxy, polyaspartic and metallic coatings, polished and stained concrete, grinding and surface prep, sealing, resurfacing and overlays, pool decks, and stripping old coatings. You can see the full list of services on our home page and read more about how our crew works on our About page.

The information on this site is general. It describes how these floors usually go, but every slab is different, so it isn't a promise about your floor. The details that apply to your job are the ones in your written estimate or contract.

Estimates and pricing

We give free on-site estimates, and asking for one puts you under no obligation. We need to see the floor in person because the condition of the concrete, its size, any cracks or old coatings, moisture coming up through the slab and the system you choose all change the price and the schedule.

Your estimate is based on what we can see before work starts. Some problems only show up once we grind the surface, such as hidden damage, soft spots, deep stains or a coating that won't come off cleanly. If we find something that changes the scope or the cost, we'll stop, show you what we found and agree on the change with you before we go further.

An estimate stays good for the time written on it. After that, material costs and our schedule may have changed, so we may need to update it.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We set a start date with you once you accept the estimate. Weather, heat, humidity, material deliveries and problems found in the slab can move a schedule, and when that happens we'll tell you as soon as we know.

You agree to give our crew clear access to the work area, power and water where the job needs them, and a space emptied of cars, furniture and stored items unless we've agreed to move them. If we arrive and can't start because the area isn't ready, we'll reschedule, and any costs from the lost day will be as stated in your contract.

If you need to cancel or move your date, please call us at (442) 250-4457 as early as you can. Any deposit refund or cancellation charge follows what your written contract says, along with any cancellation rights California law gives you.

Payment

Payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due, are set out in your written estimate or contract. We'll go over them with you before work begins so nothing comes as a surprise.

If a payment is late, we may pause work or hold back further scheduling until the account is current. You stay responsible for the agreed price of work we've already completed.

Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover

We stand behind our work, and if something isn't right, we want to hear about it so we can make it right. Any specific warranty on your floor will be written in your contract, along with how long it lasts and what it covers.

Coatings and sealers need time to cure before foot traffic, furniture or vehicles go on them, and we'll tell you how long to wait for your floor. A warranty doesn't cover damage from using the floor before it's cured, from skipping the care steps we give you, from impacts, dragged equipment, harsh chemicals, hot tires or misuse, or from movement, cracking or moisture in the concrete underneath that we didn't install.

Concrete is a natural material, so color, texture and pattern can vary from samples, photos and other floors. Polished and stained floors in particular show the slab's own marks, and we can't promise they'll look exactly like an example. Except for what your written contract says, we don't make any other promises about our work or this website, whether stated or implied.

Limits on our liability

We're licensed and fully insured, and we take care to protect your property while we work. Even so, to the extent the law allows, Calexico Precision Epoxy Flooring isn't responsible for indirect or follow-on losses, such as lost business, lost use of a space or the cost of storing items, arising from our work or this website.

To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that California law says can't be limited.

Using this website

We try to keep this site accurate, but it may have mistakes or out-of-date information, and we may change it at any time. The text, photos and designs on it belong to us or are used with permission, so please don't copy them for commercial use without asking us first.

If the site links to another website, we don't control that site and aren't responsible for what's on it.

Settling a disagreement

If you're unhappy with any part of our work, please contact us first and give us a fair chance to look at it and fix it. Most problems get settled faster that way than any other.

If we can't settle it together, either of us may take the matter to the courts of Imperial County, California, including small claims court where it qualifies.

Governing law

These terms, and any work we do for you, are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies. A change won't alter a contract you've already signed with us unless we both agree to it in writing.

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.

How to reach us

If you have a question about these terms or a job, call us at (442) 250-4457, any day from 7 AM to 10 PM, or send us a note through our Contact page. We reply within 1 business day.
